Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police is continuing its investigation into the movie and OTT piracy case. Recently, the main accused in the case of recording in the theater and hacking the servers have been arrested. During the investigation, the focus of the investigation was on the website Ibomma (ibomma telugu movies), and its administrators challenged the police. Taking it as a challenge, the Cyber Crime Police arrested four accused working for the website. It was found that Ibomma has agents in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
On the other hand, the investigation was expedited to curb iBomma, which has become a headache for the administrators by stealing OTT content. In this context, an advertisement in Telugu from the piracy website went viral on social media. In the advertisement, iBomma stated that unnecessary budgets are being spent on films and its recovery is being pushed on the audience. It said that the general audience, especially the middle class, is suffering due to this. It advised the police to focus on websites that record movies in theaters with the help of cameras and release prints. It is noteworthy that they said that they will think of India and Telugu people in any country.
